Notice Title

GB-Duxford: DX-10 Asbestos Removal Works

Notice Description

The Works comprise the removal of approximately 2/3 of the ceilings within Building 10 to remove residual asbestos contamination trapped within small voids between the lath and plaster ceilings and plasterboard applied subsequently. Removal of loft insulation and asbestos residue has previously been undertaken, but it has been found that there remain some asbestos residues trapped within the Lath and plaster ceiling in voids between the L&P and the plasterboard overlay. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
