Summary of the contracting process

The Birmingham Voluntary Services Council is seeking proposals for the "Provision of an Ageing Better Hub for Sparkbrook" through an open procurement process. This tender is part of the wider initiative to establish five main ageing hubs, including thematic and geographic centres. The bid submission deadline is set for Monday, 14th December 2015, at 12pm. The contract period is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2016 and will run until 31st March 2021. Given the £275,000 budget for this contract, successful respondents could find themselves playing a crucial role in enhancing local support systems for the ageing population, which can lead to further growth and collaboration with public sector entities.
