Notice Title

Public Engagement Professional

Notice Description

The University of Exeter require the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Public Engagement Organisation to design and deliver a series of digital and in-person events across Devon and Cornwall, on their behalf. The successful organisation will have proven experience of delivering public engagement events in person and online, which engage a wide range of audiences. They will have a background in research and the creative industries and be familiar with academia and the STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics). They will have experience of working with researchers and creative practitioners, using a wide range of different activities and media to reach a range of audiences, and notably those who do not have easy access to, and thus are less inclined to engage in STEAM fields. Existing relationships with academics and institutes across the University of Exeter would be an advantage. Ideally, we are seeking an organisation experienced in some, or all of the following: community media and radio; social media platforms, participatory theatre; science and research fairs; public talks; conversation events; workshops; school resources; online games and quizzes.
