Notice Description

There is an urgent requirement for a temporary over roof enclosure and internal crash deck. The building continues to deteriorate rapidly. The protection against the weather is required to ensure the longevity and continued functionality of the heritage asset; to halt degradation. The enclosing 'wrap' must be weathertight and prevent water ingress. The design must provide for future adaptability for adaptation by a main contractor for repairs to the fabric, e.g. provision for compounds, site accommodation, walkways, to adjust the height and profile of the temporary roof to provide sufficient access and working space. In addititon to this an internal crash deck is to be installed as part of this contract.
