Summary of the contracting process

Leicestershire Police has awarded a contract to Cellebrite UK Limited for the provision of services related to the National Enabling Programme (NEP Office 365), specifically for compliance with Design Refresh 3 (DR3). The procurement process is now complete, with the contract period starting on 12th February 2022 and ending on 30th June 2022. The procurement type was a direct award, following the identification of Cellebrite UK Limited as the most suitable supplier due to their direct involvement with the NEP programme. This procurement falls under the goods category, specifically Miscellaneous software package and computer systems, with its delivery location specified as the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. The contract value is £72,000.

This contract represents a significant opportunity for large technology and software firms that specialise in cloud services and identity management solutions. Businesses with expertise in migrating user authentication systems to cloud environments, integration with national identity management tools, and modern management solutions for devices will find this tender particularly relevant. As public sector commissions often require compliance with new regulations and designs, organisations that can demonstrate both experience and innovation in the fields of IT infrastructure and security are well-positioned to compete in similar future contracts.
