PRF1638: Provision of Treasury Management Advisory Services

Notice Description

Peterborough City Council is retendering for the contract for treasury management advisors. The new contract will cover the period 1st October 2023 - 30th September 2026 with a possible extension for up to two years. Peterborough's treasury operations include a debt portfolio of PS470m and short-term investments of approximately PS20m. The investment strategy is designed to eliminate risk first and foremost. As far as investment criteria go, the Council has chosen to place deposits in money market funds and banks across a select group of counterparties for investment purposes using some of the highest credit ratings available (Fitch F1+ AAA). The successful consultancy will liaise closely with the Service Director- Corporate Finance and officers in the treasury team to ensure the Council's treasury strategy is designed to achieve the best performance.
