Notice Description

Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) invites responses to a Soft Market Test questionnaire relating to our Building, Mechanical & Electrical Services Maintenance contract which will be re-tendered in 2024. The aim is to seek supplier feedback on the Council's proposed KPIs and Service Credits. Cambridgeshire County Council's current Maintenance Term Contract, for repairs and maintenance of the Council's corporate buildings (excluding schools) ends on 31st October 2024. The Council is preparing to retender this contract to start 1st November 2024. It will be a 3+1+1 years term. The contract will include reactive repairs, servicing and testing of all equipment as detailed within the specification. Tender documents will be issued in Spring 2024. As part of the preparation of the new contract, Cambridgeshire County Council are reviewing the performance management mechanisms. We are, of course, looking to balance service quality and responsiveness with value for money. As such, we are seeking a view from the market on whether our proposed performance management requirements, including the details of the drafted KPIs and service credits, are broadly in line with industry expectations and are reasonable, or where they can be improved. The proposed KPIs are detailed in the SMT document along with a short supplier questionnaire to be returned by 5pm Monday 13th November 2023.
