Notice Description

2642/494/CW/NW/20 Digital Microscope The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Digital Microscope on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre Northwest, Heatley House, Bowran Street, Preston PR1 2UX. Scope of Requirement This tender is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Digital Microscope to be used primarily for metallographic inspection of additively manufactured samples in a research and development environment. Other uses will include the inspection of welds and weld tracks but this will be a central resource for all the AMRC North West research themes so the equipment is expected to be flexible and intuitive to operate for multiple users. Tender Process and Documentation: This procurement is an open procedure conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
