Notice Description

This tender is being carried out by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) as the Sponsor and Principal Employer of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Superannuation Scheme ("the Scheme"). Until a recent retirement, the Scheme had a Professional Independent Trustee appointed and CWGC is now seeking a replacement from candidates with relevant experience. Through this appointment, CWGC is particularly keen to add expertise and experience in defined benefit investment (e.g., strategy, journey planning, liability hedging techniques) to the Trustee board to ensure an appropriate strategy is developed in consultation with the sponsor as well as being in a stronger position to understand, challenge and hold accountable the scheme's investment advisers and fund managers. CWGC are therefore be keen to receive bids from candidates with particular expertise and experience in investment matters to help address this need. Additional information: This tender will be managed using the CWGC e-Procurement portal - https://in-tendhost.co.uk/cwgc/aspx/Home.
