Notice Title

Support to the development of Trauma Informed Approaches

Notice Description

For VCSE organisations and CICs We are looking for a partner organisation to help us realise our vision for a trauma informed and responsive approach within the Children, Adults and Health (CAH) Directorate of South Gloucestershire Council. Using the BNSSG trauma informed principles and informed by the Knowledge and Skills Framework, our partner will help us understand what measures will make the greatest difference to people who have experienced trauma and adversity in both the workforce and population at large, and to put that into practice. Our partner will work closely with CAH's Trauma Steering Group and Trauma Lead to help identify, develop and deliver a 12-month programme that will help us embed a trauma informed approach into everything we do, now and in the future. We don't have all the answers but we do have a lot of questions. We are looking for a partner to help us develop trauma informed approaches and solutions in a range of areas including but not limited to: - Training model for staff (hybrid model of standard training and 'train the trainer') - Commissioning - Resource development - Meaningfully engagement around workforce well-being (e.g. supervision and links to existing staff wellbeing programme - Integration in services (e.g. assessments) - Staff recruitment and retention - Policy and procedures - Compassionate Leadership - Building on our previous ACE work, in particular the ACE Ambassador Network
