Information and Advice - PrEP

Notice Description

Norfolk County Council's commissioner for sexual & reproductive healthcare in Norfolk, on behalf of the Director of Public Health, wishes to gain advice from one or more expert organisations so as to: aid the Council's Public Health to reach its residents at high to highest risk of acquiring HIV (in-line with BHIVA/BASHH guidelines on the use of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) 2018); inform the content, design, publication, and distribution needed for NCC Public Health to run a future PrEP awareness campaign; and increase uptake of PrEP from these particularly hard to reach cohorts. Those who are interested should register on the Council's procurement site https://in-tendhost.co.uk/norfolkcc/aspx/Home . If you encounter any difficulties whilst using the system you can contact the In-Tend support team by phoning 0845 557 8079 or +44 (0) 114 407 0065 or by emailing support@in-tend.co.uk. Once registered you will need to register an interest in the project and you will then be able to access the relevant documents, including the full specification. The Council reserves the right to award a sum of money to more than one provider. It is not necessary for providers to be able to cover all groups and applications are welcomed from providers who are only able to cover one or a small number of groups. You are able to raise questions using the in-tend website or alternatively at sourcingteam@norfolk.gov.uk. We can also arrange a conversation with Public Health commissioners, if required. Please note that the start date of the contract included in this notice is not absolute.
