As part of Central Government's Warm Homes Programme, SCC submitted an expression of interest to DESNZ in December 2024 for the successor fund to HUG 2 called the Warm Homes - Local Grant (WHLG) which was successful and allocated a record sum for SCC of PS13.9 million of grant funding, to be utilised across the next three financial years.
