Notice Description

The Environment Agency wishes to establish a contract: o To provide called off gas regulators as required to ensure the Agency Ambient Air Monitoring Team who are managing the supply to the LSO (Local Site Operator's) and other stakeholders on the network have sufficient gas regulators for their needs. There are approximately 360 regulators out on the network at present. o To supply the EA AAM and incident team with gas regulators to conduct their work, which uses similar instrumentation to the AURN and have approximately 50 regulators to maintain. o To achieve best value and minimise waste in the potential refurbishment and repair of regulators for the AURN network and internal EA teams, and to offer safe and legal disposal of regulators that cannot be re-used. o To supply gases regulators to the network which are supplied and tested to a high standard of safety for users, Health and Safety legislation and best practice. The Gas regulator contractor shall be an advisor on a 'Written Scheme' for the gas regulator supplied to the AURN network for use by other AURN contractors, and offer relevant training provision if required.
