This framework agreement targets the delivery of civil engineering works with a total value estimated between £500,000 and £4,100,000 over a maximum duration of 48 months, although contractors may receive call-off contracts that extend beyond this period. The tender period concludes on 11 October 2017, and the contract is set to commence on 13 November 2017, lasting until 12 November 2019. The procurement follows a selective method using a restricted procedure, and primary users will include the Authority's Technical Services and Highway Services departments.

Businesses that are equipped to deliver projects valued up to £50,000, have experience with NEC3 Short Form Contracts, or have previously worked with public sector frameworks could find this a fruitful venture. Engaging in this framework may also lead to potential collaborations with other associated bodies and diversified funding from sources like the Heritage Lottery Fund and European Regional Development Funds.
