Makinson Arcade is a traditional Victorian arcade with multiple independent traders under the ownership and management of the local authority. The council seeks to appoint a marketing contractor to undertake all marketing, PR and event management and delivery. The council expects to have a single point of contact with overall responsibility for the delivery of the full campaign, but it can be undertaken through a conglomerate of smaller specialist providers coordinated by the appointed provider (within the total contract cost). Areas of responsibility include: * Communication with tenants through online meetings / face-to-face / group discussions * Managing events/activities through delivery partners / hands-on attendance * Website - migrate, host & maintain * Social Media - management of Makinson accounts * Public Relations / Press / Media * Proposals for Events & Seasonal Activities * Graphic Design production * Reporting on website and social media activity * Reviewing event (expenditure) success/failure * Reviewing Makinson PR exposure Expected to work closely with: * Makinson Management * Wigan Council Marketing & Campaigns Team & Collaborate with: * Makinson Tenants * Wigan Markets * Grand Arcade
