Notice Description

DE&S is looking to deliver a scalable supply chain mapping solution with a repeatable process that it can apply to programmes and projects across MOD intially with focus on mapping information security supply chain risks. However, in addition DE&S also wishes to understand risks arising from other types of supply chain risks such as strategic, operational, financial, compliance, environmental and reputational. It is envisaged that the requirement will be met via a multi supplier framework agreement which enables MOD to approach a number of compliant suppliers to analyse the supply chain from a specific or multiple perspectives As the framework suppliers will have been assessed as being capable and compliant via a competitive tender process the time-scales for these call-off competitions are greatly reduced and typically call-off contracts are placed in 1-2 weeks from receipt of demand.
