Summary of the contracting process

The Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is initiating a tender titled "Christmas Employment Opportunities - Sandwell," aimed at preparing young people (aged 15-29) for employment in temporary and permanent roles predominantly in the retail sector. This procurement falls under the "Education and training services" category, and the tender period ends on 17th October 2019, with the contract commencing on 1st November 2019 and concluding on 31st December 2019. The procurement method is selective, specifically a restricted procedure above the threshold, and the project is situated in the West Midlands, United Kingdom.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for training providers and businesses engaged in youth employment services to expand their reach and impact. Companies with expertise in delivering tailored training for young individuals who are not currently in employment, education, or training (NEET) would be ideally suited to compete. The requirement for established networks in recruitment and the ability to demonstrate successful outcomes from similar initiatives further emphasises the potential for growth in this sector, particularly for small and medium enterprises and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs).
