Notice Description

Management and co-ordination of investigating officers and independent persons to fulfil the independent element of local authority stage 2 complaints investigated under statutory children's social care procedures. The children act 1989, representations procedure (England) regulations 2006. Additional information: Cambridgeshire County Council Children's Services are looking to appoint a fully managed complaints investigation service, utilising a network of fully qualified investigating officers and independent persons ready to undertake complaint investigations. The successful service, will need to ensure that all IO's and IP's are suitably qualified social care professionals that are fully vetted and provided with comprehensive guidance, support and secure work management systems to enable them to undertake their professional roles. The service should also provide quality supervision and performance monitoring of all work undertaken and be fully compliant with relevant policies and procedures to ensure its services are delivered safely and securely.
