Notice Description

Dudley Council is seeking an event management company to support with hosting a cycling event in Dudley town centre to be staged this summer as part of the Commonwealth Games legacy. The only date this can be accommodated by British Cycling this year in order to be part of the British Cycling National Circuit Series is Friday July 14. The event would involve a short circuit around the town centre and would run from approximately 3pm to 9pm, starting with community cycling for riders of all ages and abilities and finishing with the elite races, featuring Olympic medallists from the British Cycling tour. An event management company is required to deliver the event on behalf of British Cycling, supported by staff from Dudley Council. The company will be required to detail the exact tasks to be delivered and align actions to the British Cycling Risk Assessment through a robust event management plan. Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format.
