Notice Description

This is a structures maintenance scheme with the main objective to re-waterproof Hobson Way Middle Drain Bridge deck. The following list is not comprehensive but details the main items of work incorporated into the scheme: * Remove all the existing road, footway and hard verge construction including the existing waterproofing, * Remove existing expansion joints, * Check for and repair any defects to the concrete bridge deck, * Prepare the existing bridge deck and install new spray applied waterproofing, * Reinstate flexible plug joints on the carriageway and nosing joints on the footway, * Resurface the carriageway over the bridge deck and its approaches, * Reconstruct the footway and hard verge over the bridge deck, including new kerbs, * Reinstate road markings.
