Summary of the contracting process

The Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is currently concluding the award phase of the procurement process for the "NUN - Modern Methods of Construction, Architect and Employer's Agent Framework." This framework, which falls under the construction industry, will provide services for the delivery of construction activities across three lots: modern methods of construction, architectural design, and project management. The framework is designed for a duration of four years, with potential call-off contracts lasting up to ten years. The contract period officially commenced on 8 September 2021 and will extend until 7 September 2025. Interested parties were required to submit bids by 26 April 2021, following a restricted procurement method as per the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for growth for businesses involved in construction, architecture, and project management. Companies that specialise in modern construction methods, architectural design services, and project leadership are particularly encouraged to compete. With the potential for collaboration with other local authorities and registered providers across the UK, businesses can leverage this framework to secure long-term contracts and establish a robust presence in the public sector construction market.
