Summary of the contracting process

The Cornwall Council is currently in the planning stage for a workshop titled "Open invitation to attend a workshop on drafting Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly's integrated commissioning strategy for children, young people and families." This initiative falls under the education and training services and health and social work services categories. The workshops will take place across six locality areas in Cornwall during February 2018, with the engagement end date set for 19 April 2018. This effort aims to facilitate collaboration between health and care providers and the families they serve, ensuring that every child has access to necessary resources and opportunities.

This workshop presents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in healthcare, social services, and education to engage and collaborate on strategies that shape the provision of services for children and families in Cornwall. Companies with expertise in health and social care, community engagement, and training services will find this particularly relevant, as the council seeks to co-produce its health and care strategy with input from professionals and community members. Participating in this initiative could enhance visibility and lead to potential contracts in future commissioning efforts.

Notice Description

Open invitation to attend a workshop on drafting Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly's integrated commissioning strategy for children, young people and families. Please note this is not part of any tendering process, this is early engagement in co-designing Cornwall's Integrated Commissioning Strategy for children, young people and their families This event makes no commitment to procure any services and is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. Dear colleague One Vision: Your opportunity to help shape the integrated commissioning strategy for children, young people and their families One Vision sets the foundation which the NHS, Cornwall Council and Council for the Isles of Scilly will use to bring together health and care services for children, young people and their families. During phase one we shared details of our ambition to improve services through our Partnership Plan: www.cornwall.gov.uk/onevision www.cornwallchildrenstrust.org.uk/media/25842707/one-vision-partnership-plan.pdf We now need to develop these plans to change the way people in health and care work together and people access services to ensure every child and young person is safe, healthy and has equal chances in accessing opportunities to achieve a brighter future. We are developing the Integrated Commissioning Strategy for Children, Young People and their Families which will enable the future commissioning intentions to truly meet people's needs. We will achieve this by co-producing our health and care system with people who not only commission and deliver services, but also clinicians, health and care professionals and the people who use our services.
