Notice Description

Cornwall Fire, Rescue & Community Safety Service (CFRCSS) have a requirement for one, 16,500Kg/ GLM Fire Appliances/specialist rescue vehicle based on 4x4 chassis cab unit. The appliance is to be equipped with a centrally mounted rescue/recovery crane, rescue winch and a flexible use stowage area. The appliance must have an excellent off road capability, good manoeuvrability and a minimum fording capability of 800mm. The crane should have a minimum outreach capability of at least 750Kg at 12.5 metres (14.5m preferred) and a minimum of a 400 degree slew/rotation capability. The overall dimensions of the vehicle are not to exceed 2,500mm Wide x 6,000mm Long x 4,100mm High.
