Harborne Road, QE Bus Priority and Alcester Road Improvements
Notice Description
The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) requires a suitable contractor to undertake improvement works for better bus access and associated prioritisation at three locations consisting of Harborne Road, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Alcester Road in Birmingham. The preliminary design for these schemes has been developed and a consultant has been commissioned to carry out the detailed design. Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) will be required to minimise risk and provide a smooth transition from design to construction. Please see the various attachments outlining further details of the requirement and please note that the contract for this project will be NEC4 Engineering & Construction Contract, Option C. In order to access the documents and submit a bid please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk). The tender reference is itt_705 and if you are not already registered on BravoSolution it is free and usually only takes a few minutes to do so. Bids are being assessed on the basis of 40% quality and 60% price. Only those organisations that have answered all of the questions and provided all supporting documents satisfactorily in the Qualification Envelope of BravoSolution will go on to have their tenders evaluated. Please submit all responses, via BravoSolution, by the tender deadline which is 1200 noon on Friday 25th October 2019 and the deadline for any clarification questions, also via BravoSolution, is 1200 noon on Friday 18th October 2019.
