Developing an accommodation booking system at Newham Council
Notice Description
Shape the future of supported accommodation with Newham Council. Are you an expert provider of digital solutions for local authorities committed to innovation and collaboration? Newham Council is seeking your insights and expertise as they embark on a project to develop a borough-wide Accommodation Booking System (ABS). System deliverables: Newham Council wants to be able to effectively track and monitor their accommodation based services across the Council. This means implementing a system that is configurable to the needs of the borough and that can deliver and record as a minimum the following: * Track available units and voids across all commissioned accommodation based services in Newham including supported living and care homes to optimise occupancy rates. * Gain real-time insights into voids, placements costs, performance data, and resident outcomes, facilitating informed decision-making. * Ensure adherence to safety standards and support effective service delivery. * Accurately record contact details of service provider and landlord * Track and monitor length of occupancy to be able to understand when property may become available for new residents i.e transition to independent living. Additional information: Join the conversation: We invite all established providers of digital solutions for local authorities with a proven track record to participate in a series of discussions about the ABS development. We want subject matter experts to support us in the development of our internal proposals to procure a digital solution as outlined above. By working together, we can: * Create an efficient and responsive system that benefits the Council, providers and its residents. * Improve access to quality supported living accommodation across Newham and beyond. * Drive innovation and best practice within the supported living sector. This is an exciting and innovative project. For further information and to be part of the discussions, please review the attached power point presentation and complete the questions. Please return your completed questions to: Stacey Sangha (Senior Procurement Specialist ) at Stacey.sangha@newham.gov.uk by 28th June 2024.
