CP1447-17 Framework Agreement for Minor Construction Works 2017 - 2021
Notice Description
A framework agreement for carrying out minor construction works covering the period from November 2017 to October 2021. The number of schemes is not known. The schemes, each of which will have an estimated value of from PS10,000 up to PS500,000 or PS1.0m as appropriate, will be the subject of an individual Works Order issued by the Project Manager/Supervisor. Tenders are required in respect of works in any or all of 3 different areas of the County as identified in the Area Location Plans (East, North and South) in Volume 6 of the Procurement Documents and within either or both of 2 different ranges of estimated works costs, as follows: Area East: Lot 1- East Low - Estimated works cost up to PS500,000. Lot 2 - East High - Estimated works cost PS500,001 to PS1.0m. Area North: Lot 3 - North Low - Estimated works cost up to PS500,000. Lot 4 - North High - Estimated works cost PS500,001 to PS1.0m. Area South: Lot 5 - South Low - Estimated works cost up to PS500,000. Lot 6 - South High - Estimated works cost PS500,001 to PS1.0m. The Authority intends to appoint four contractors under this Framework Contract. Tenderers should be aware that the Authority does not guarantee the number of schemes that will actually be undertaken or the number of schemes to be carried out by any of the Framework Contractors. The types of works include footways, cycle routes, bus priorities, pedestrian crossings, traffic calming and works to recycling centres. Structural work, such as retaining walls and bridge deck repair, may also be included. The Form of Contract will be the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (April 2013) as detailed in Volume 1 of the Procurement Documents. Contract period is 48 months. The submission of tenders will be via the etendering portal: www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk. Deadline for submission of tenders is 12:00 noon on Friday 15th September 2017.
