Cardiff University initiated a tender process for the provision of educational software development services, specifically titled "HPE Mentor." This procurement, which falls under the services category and relates to the development of an Office 365 Desktop mentor/self-help product, is located in Cardiff, UK. However, the status of this tender has been marked as cancelled, and it was conducted through a limited procurement method without prior publication of a call for competition. The relevant deadlines and nuanced details of the procurement process were not disclosed, but the tender aimed to support staff and students in leveraging the Microsoft Office 365 suite.

The cancellation of this tender presents opportunities for businesses involved in educational software development, particularly those specialising in Microsoft Office products.
