Summary of the contracting process

Golding Homes is seeking proposals for the procurement of a Repairs Management System (RMS) to bring their repairs service in-house, with a total contract value of £500,000. This tender is currently active, and businesses can submit their bids until 15th March 2021. The procurement falls under the goods category within the software industry, specifically targeting the South East region of England. The process is being conducted through a selective procurement method, described as a competitive procedure with negotiation, which is necessitated by a strategic shift in their service delivery. A contract period of five years is anticipated, with the possibility of extending up to eight years based on performance evaluations.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as Golding Homes is open to selecting economic operators from this demographic. Particularly, businesses specialising in software development, customer relationship management, and compliance solutions would be well-suited to compete for this contract. The requirement for a system that can interface with existing platforms will further favour vendors with proven integration capabilities. As the repair management system is critical for service delivery, interested suppliers should prepare to demonstrate their technical suitability and meet the selection criteria outlined in the procurement documentation.
