Summary of the contracting process

The Department for Infrastructure’s Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) procured IT services to support delivery of Northern Ireland’s statutory vehicle testing service. The requirement covers IT consulting, software development, internet and support services, together with software packages and information systems. The work supports the DVA’s critical business functions and vehicle-testing operations, including technical expertise and out-of-hours support to manage testing-service demand and backlogs. Delivery is centred in Belfast. The buying organisation is the Department for Infrastructure, Driver and Vehicle Agency, with the Department for Infrastructure also identified as buyer.
