Notice Description

UK Shared Business Services Ltd ("UK SBS") on behalf of South Tees Site Company Limited ("STSC") wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced to perform HV cable leak detection and then undertake repairs to the detected leaks. UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended from time to time) (the "Regulations"). This is a Services Contract being procured under Open OJEU Procedure Regulations. See section I.3) for access to procurement documentation. UK SBS will be using the Delta eSourcing Portal for this procurement. The access code is PH4E3G733M.

Lot 1

UK Shared Business Services Ltd ("UK SBS") on behalf of South Tees Site Company Limited ("STSC") wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced to perform HV cable leak detection and then undertake repairs to the detected leaks. The project falls within the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, with the successful bidder taking the role of Principal Contractor. The service will comprise of three main phases: 1. Full flush of the following cables and header tanks with Perfluorocarbon Tracer (PFT) tagged cable oil; 2. Once the tracer has been injected, the detection process specified by the bidder would then be followed until any leaks have been detected on each cable. The leaks that have been identified will then be prioritised and repaired; 3. The repairs would be carried out on a joint by joint basis, upon prioritisation by STSC High Voltage engineering personnel. STSC are aware that there are leaks within the HV Cables however the number of leaks are unknown therefore it is the intention for all detection and repair works to be issued on a task order basis. The maximum value of this contract is PS312,000.00. UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended from time to time) (the "Regulations").
