Procurement Information
This is a 24-month extension to the Electronic Documents and Records Management System Contract. Extending the contract has been assessed as the best value for money option to ensure Electronic Documents and Records Management System continuity. Going to market has been assessed as unfavourable due to the following: * Risk of limited market interest given high start-up costs and short term of contract to recoup costs of competition and providing the service * Risk to data integrity as result of data migration * Risk of potential disruption to service (heightened impact with home working staff) * Loss of knowledge / expertise in current Electronic Documents and Records Management System * Internal resource implications to work with new supplier and maintain existing levels of support alongside migration project
