NHS Supply Chain: Food seeks to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stocked route for the supply of Ambient Food covering products from the following categories including but not limited to: Canned fish, canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, nutritional supplements, thickeners, glucose products, cereals, cereal bars, porridge, jam, reduced energy jams, gravy, bouillon, ready to use sauces, single serve instant soup sachets, liquid soups, soup mixes, custard powder, ready to eat custard, individual custard portions, sauces, salt, pepper, vinegar, caster sugar, sugar cubes, demerara sugar, golden syrup, granulated sugar, icing sugar, soft dark brown sugar, soft light brown sugar, white sugar sticks & sachets, demerara sugar sticks & sachets, sweeteners, milk powder, milk portions, cream replacer, coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk, soya milk, edible oil in various formats, dried fruit, fruit pots, herbs & spices, pasta, rice & grains, instant mash, pickled vegetables, savoury spreads, sweet spreads, desserts, cake mixes, pie fillings, flour, jelly crystals and jelly pots. Lot Information
Canned Goods
This lot will include but not be limited to; canned fish, canned meat, canned vegetables and canned fruit. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS1,742,344 and PS6,969,376 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Oral Nutritional Supplements, Thickeners & Glucose ProductsThis lot will include but not be limited to; nutritional supplements. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS668,769 and PS2,675,075 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months
Cereals & PorridgeThis lot will include but not be limited to; cereals, cereal bars and porridge in bulk (food service packs) and portion packs. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS1,929,642 and PS7,718,569 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
JamsThis lot will include but not be limited to; jams in bulk (food service packs) and portion packs. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS412,286 and PS1,649,143 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Reduced Energy JamsThis lot will include but not be limited to; jams with reduced energy. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS138,311 and PS553,245 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Gravy, Bouillon & Cooking SaucesThis lot will include but not be limited to; gravy, bouillon and ready to use sauces. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS437,070 and PS1,748,281 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Single Serve Instant SoupsThis lot will include but not be limited to; Single Serve Instant Soup sachets. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS39,298 and PS157,193 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Bulk SoupsThis lot will include but not be limited to; bulk (food service packs) liquid soups and soup mixes. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS300,849 and PS1,203,395 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
CustardThis lot will include but not be limited to; bulk (food service packs) custard powder, ready to eat custard and individual custard portions. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS541,304 and PS2,165,216 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
CondimentsThis lot will include but not be limited to; sauces, salt, pepper, herbs, spices and vinegar in a range of sizes. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS471,828 and PS1,887,312 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
SugarThis lot will include but not be limited to; Caster sugar, sugar cubes, Demerara sugar, Golden Syrup, Granulated sugar, Icing sugar, Soft dark brown sugar and Soft light brown sugar in a range of sizes. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS334,738 and PS1,338,953 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Sugar PortionsThis lot will include but not be limited to; White sugar sticks & sachets and Demerara sugar sticks & sachets. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS242,828 and PS971,312 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
SweetenersThis lot will include but not be limited to; various sweeteners in bulk (food service packs) and portion formats. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS85,205 and PS340,819 for the full 48 months (if extended).
Options: The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally for up to a further 24 months.
Milk Powder & PortionsThis lot will include but not be limited to; milk powder, milk portions and cream replacer. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS520,145 and PS2,080,582 for the full 48 months (if extended).

Non Dairy Milk AlternativesThis lot will include but not be limited to; coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk and soya milk. The value for the first 12 months is anticipated to be PS39,000 and PS156,000 for the full 48 months (if extended).

The term of contracts formed under the Framework Agreement may continue beyond the end of the term of the Framework Agreement itself. NHS Supply Chain: Food expects to provide successful suppliers with the opportunity to offer additional savings to customers through the provision of discounted pricing, value added offerings and commitment initiatives. Please refer to section 10 of the ITT in respect to this. NHS Supply Chain: Food will share savings information in order to assist its customers with making informed procurement decisions. NHS Supply Chain: Food intends to enter into arrangements under which it will be entitled to purchase supplies and/or services which it will make available for purchase by: 1) Any NHS Trust; 2) Any other NHS entity; 3) Any Government department, agency or other statutory body (for the avoidance of doubt including local authorities); and/or 4) Any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain: Food can order from the Framework Agreement and enter into contracts under it. Electronic ordering will be used and electronic invoicing will be accepted and electronic payment will be used. For the avoidance of doubt and not withstanding the estimate indicated at II.1.4) and II.1.5). NHS Supply Chain: Food does not guarantee any level of purchase through the framework and advises applicants that the framework shall be established on a non-exclusive basis. Tenders and all supporting documentation for the contract must be priced in sterling and written in English. Any agreement entered into will be considered a contract made in England according to English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. NHS Supply Chain: Food is not liable for any costs (including any third party costs fees or expenses incurred by those expressing an interest, participating or tendering for this contract opportunity.
