    "description": "The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board wish to extend the existing contract with Platfform for a 12 month period. The Health Board were not in a position to spend the time originally planned to re-tender the requirements due to the unexpected COVID 19 Pandemic and priorities within the Clinical Board having to change to respond appropriately to the situation. Furthermore by extending the 3rd Sector Contracts for an additional year will help to enable them to recover from Covid which in turn will help in re-stabilising their organisations. Work is now underway to prepare the necessary specification documents to allow a full Tender exercise to renew these contracts in line with this VEAT expiry. (WA Ref:109429)",
