Notice Description
Scope To provide every pupil, member of staff and guests at Hayes Park School who so requires a nutritionally balanced hot or cold meal at lunchtime that meets the food standards as laid out by 2014 No. 1603 The Education (The Requirement for School Food Regulations (England) 2014. OUTPUTS Provide an on-site catering provision for all pupils, members of staff and guests. OUR PURPOSE There are four primary purposes for catering at Hayes Park School: 1. To provide a nutritionally balanced meal for our pupils. 2. To provide value for money catering services for parents/carers and to support the activities of the school. 3. To provide and manage a sociable environment for pupils and staff to meet and eat together, enabling young people from different backgrounds to socialise in accessible surroundings, enhancing the staff and pupil experience and helping build a strong sense of community. 4. To encourage healthy eating for our pupils on food education and wellbeing.
