This framework is for the supply of rock salt and related products and is split into 3 lots as described later in this notice. Please note that the framework value is an estimation of Lot 1 only and does not include a value for Lot 2 and Lot 3 as these are new requirements.

Lot Information

Lot 1 Supply of rock salt for spreading on highways (ITT85933)

Gwynedd Council are inviting tenders for a framework for the supply of Rock Salt that complies to BS3247:2011 standard or equivalent to be used during the winter maintenance. The Highways Works department, who have 6 Salt Domes:- X - A55 External Contract Gwynedd Civil Engineering, Plot 7A, Mona Industrial Park, Mona, Anglesey, LL65 4RJ A - Arfon - Caernarfon Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 2BF D - Dwyfor - Afonwen Afonwen Depot, Pwllheli, , Gwynedd, LL53 6NQ M1 - Merionnydd - Dolgellau Coed Ffridd Arw, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, LL40 2AB M2 - Merionnydd - Bala Bala Industrial Estate, Bala, Gwynedd, LL73 7NL M3 - Merionnydd - Blaenau Ffestiniog Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, LL41 3LG O Additional information: This lot will be awarded on the basis of 80% price and 20% quality

Lot 2 Supply of anti-icing / de-icing liquid (ITT85933)

Gwynedd Council are inviting tenders for a framework for the supply of anti-icing / de-icing liquid that complies to SAE International AMS1435D or equivalent for spraying on footways, cycleways and bridges during the winter maintenance. The following depots will be covered by this framework:- X - A55 External Contract - Gwynedd Civil Engineering, Plot 7A, Mona Industrial Park, Mona, Anglesey, LL65 4RJ A - Arfon - Caernarfon - Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 2BF D - Dwyfor - Afonwen Depot, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 6NQ M1 - Meirionnydd Coed Ffridd Arw, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, LL40 2AB Additional information: This lot will be awarded on the basis of 80% Price and 20% quality

Gwynedd Council are inviting tenders for a framework for the supply of rock salt in bags that complies to BS3247:2011 standard or equivalent to be used during the winter maintenance. The following areas will be covered by this framework:- X - A55 External Contract - Gwynedd Civil Engineering, Plot 7A, Mona Industrial Park, Mona, Anglesey, LL65 4RJ A - Arfon - Caernarfon - Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 2BF D - Dwyfor - Afonwen Depot, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 6NQ Meirionnydd (M1) Coed Ffridd Arw, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, LL40 2AB. Other departments within Gwynedd Council e.g schools, leisure centres, community town/village councils within Gwynedd, Arfon, Dwyfor and Meirionnydd. Additional information: This lot will be awarded on the basis of 100% price
