DE - Strule Shared Education Campus (Ssec) Main Works Contract
Notice Description
The Contracting Authority is delivering the Strule Shared Education Campus (SSEC). This is a landmark project providing a bespoke state of the art facility to deliver post-primary school education in Omagh, Northern Ireland. The SSEC involves the relocation of 5 post-primary schools and Arvalee School and Resource Centre onto a purpose built campus with shared facilities. Arvalee School and Resource Centre was opened in September 2016. This contract will deliver the rest of campus including school buildings, shared education and sports facilities and all other associated campus infrastructure on a c.120 acre site. The contract will be used to deliver the Government's wider Social, Economic and Environmental objectives including opportunities in line with the Government's Buy Social policies. See: http://www.buysocialni.org/ . A programme of community and stakeholder engagement will also be delivered through the contract. Refer to MoI Part B for a full description of the project.
