Description: The Contracting Authority is developing a long-term vision for the Redevelopment of Bangor Waterfront. The vision is to turn Bangor into a 'destination of choice', as a place to live, work, visit, study and invest, through a series of interconnected developments and experiences along Bangor Waterfront. In partnership with Belfast Region City Deal, the Department for Communities and key stakeholders, Ards and North Down Borough Council is progressing plans to redevelop a 2 mile stretch of Bangor Waterfront between Skippingstone Beach (near Pickie Fun Park) and Banks Lane, Ballyholme to re-establish Bangor as a thriving seaside location and prime visitor attraction in Northern Ireland.
