It is the Council's intention that the Contract will commence from 1 August 2014 with the Solution to be fully implemented within three months of signature of the Contract. This is due to the expiration of the existing contract, and urgent business needs based on the Council's technical development programme.

"description": "The recent Covid-19 pandemic has reinforced the need for the Council to have a soft telephony approach, rather than desk phones. To enable the transition from the VoIP solution to Microsoft Teams Telephony an extension to the existing contract was required. The move to a soft telephony solution will require significant work and a period of parallel running with the VoIP system will be required. Over the course of the next 12 months a further procurement will be concluded to meet future requirements.",
