Summary of the contracting process

The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is conducting a tender for the acquisition of Oxyhealth vision-based patient monitoring and management systems, classified under industry-specific software packages. This procurement process is currently in the Award stage, with an active contract valued at £150,000, signed on 26 April 2021. The installations will take place in various locations across the United Kingdom, specifically in the region coded as UKF. The procurement method utilised is "limited," where the contract was negotiated without the publication of a contract notice, underscoring the specific technical requirements of the solution.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for businesses engaged in healthcare technology and software development, particularly those specialising in patient monitoring systems. Companies with expertise in installing and supporting such software, especially those capable of providing non-contact monitoring solutions in sensitive environments like mental health facilities, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The focus on secure installations and remote monitoring features is critical for improving clinical observation and care, thus opening avenues for innovative solutions in the public health sector.
