Coventry Electric Bus City - Operators, Vehicles, Chargers and Infrastructure
Notice Description
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to inform the market of the grant opportunity, provide general updates and seek soft market testing in a number of areas as required. All related documents can be found within the project on the eTendering system - https:/wmca.bravosolution.co.uk West Midlands Combined Authority have successfully secured Grant Funding from Government to deliver the first all-electric bus city in the UK. A maximum of PS50 million in grant funding will be provided for the programme to deliver Coventry Electric Bus City. It is anticipated that the grant funding will support the delivery of the following: * New EV buses * Power provision and upgrades. * Vehicle charging. The programme is to be delivered by end of 2025.
