Notice Description
From the Headteacher, Mr Hewitt: "Stratford School Academy is a vibrant, diverse, caring, inclusive school delivering excellence for all. Rooted in the local community in the borough of Newham, we aim to provide an inspirational learning journey for every student. It is our firm belief that all of our students have the potential to achieve in school regardless of their starting points or individual circumstances. Our school culture, built upon high expectations for all, ensures that our students flourish. This not only means students achieving strong examination results but also developing their wider skills and talents, character, sense of belonging and civic duty." The School is based on two sites, Grosvenor Road and Upton Lane; each site has a kitchen and restaurant. The School has a high standard of catering and is looking to review their offer, marketing and approach to healthy eating as part of the tender process. Please note this is an accelerated tender.

Pupils Forecast Numbers - Sept 2021 Year 7 300 Year 8 300 Year 9 300 Year 10 300 Year 11 300 TOTAL 1500 Staff 180 Pricings/Sales Price Meal Deal Price 2.20 GBP currently and from September 2021 FSM Entitled: 483 / Uptake: 155 per day (daily avg.) Pupil Paid Meal Entitled: 1017 / Uptake: 673 per day (daily avg.) Staff Duty Meal Entitled: 5 per day / Uptake: 3 per day (daily avg.) Staff Cash Meals No. of Staff: 180 (some staff travel between campuses) / Uptake: 25 per day (daily avg.)
