Facilities include eight badminton court sports hall, 70-station fitness suite, 2 dedicated fitness studios, two squash courts, a climbing wall, and a performance strength and conditioning suite. Externally there are two 3G pitches (football/rugby) and two tennis courts The sports centre is a key hub for academic teaching, is an accredited TASS delivery site (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme), hosts the Derbyshire Institute of Sport team and athletes, and has a number of external/community clubs' users who hire the facilities throughout the year Additional information: A 5 year extension has been allowed for on successful partnership",
