CHIC Compliance Audit Services Framework 2021
Notice Description
The framework will provide a range of internal policy compliance and site portfolio audits along with site contractor assurance audits, as applicable. Audit work should be carried out to a professional standard by appropriately qualified personnel, including demonstrable knowledge of Registered Social Landlords, the Housing Regulator and their Regulatory Framework and Standards. The audit process will be an integral part of management systems and control, to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the member's requirements whilst complying with legislative and member policy requirements.

Asbestos Auditing
The audit process will be an integral part of asbestos management to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the client's requirements whilst complying with legislative and company policy requirements.
Commercial Gas AuditingThe audit process will be an integral part of Gas Safety management to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the client's requirements whilst complying with legislative and company policy requirements.
Domestic Gas AuditingThe audit process will be an integral part of Gas Safety management to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the client's requirements whilst complying with legislative and company policy requirements.
Electrical Safety AuditingThe audit process will be an integral part of electrical safety management to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the client's requirements whilst complying with legislative and company policy requirements.
Fire Safety AuditingCHIC Members are required to effectively identify, control and mitigate the risk of fire within any premises in which they are deemed to be the responsible person. It is therefore essential from a moral, legal and financial perspective that fire safety management arrangements are effectively implemented, reviewed and continually improved.
Lifting Equipment AuditingAudits will assess a member's duty under The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and ensure procedures and policies are in place, with a goal of formulating and providing a Compliance Report.
Mechanical and Electrical AuditingThe audit process will be an integral part of mechanical and electrical safety management to ensure that works are completed to a defined scope/specification of works in line with the client's requirements whilst complying with legislative and company policy requirements.
Water Hygiene AuditingThe audit will provide an independent and systematic examination of policies, procedures and records to provide assurance of appropriate implementation and performance in respect of but not limited to Control of legionella in hot and cold water systems and Management and control of building hot and cold water services.
