Summary of the contracting process

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is spearheading a procurement process for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) titled "Water and Wastewater Retail Services". This process falls under the services category, specifically targeting water distribution and related services (CPV code 65100000). The DPS comprises four lots distributed between England, Wales, and Scotland, offering core water and wastewater services, including associated management and business continuity services. The DPS has transitioned to the Atamis e-tendering portal for future applications, with a revised duration extended until 23rd February 2029. The procurement activity is currently in the tender update stage, and the revised guidance for expressing interest can be found on the new eSourcing portal. Businesses interested in participating should be aware of the distinct regional lot distribution and can apply for one or multiple lots.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the water services industry to expand their reach across the UK. Targeting both core and comprehensive services, it provides avenues for businesses specialising in water management, emergency service provision, and customer solutions such as online consumption monitoring. Companies offering consultancy services for water efficiency, business continuity planning, and infrastructure management are well-suited to leverage the DPS framework for growth. By engaging with this DPS, suppliers can secure ongoing work across a diverse range of non-household clients, enhancing their service portfolios and contributing to long-term sustainability and client acquisition strategies.
