Newport Transporter Bridge Interpretation And Display Delivery
Notice Description
Newport city council seeks to appoint a design and display company to deliver the interpretation and displays for the New Visitor Centre and on-site interpretation. An interpretation plan and display solution was developed to RIBA 3 as part of the project development stage 2 application process. Funding is now secured to realise this vision. The new visitor centre will be available for fit out in August 2022 and the site reopening to then public in the spring of 2023.

An interpretation plan and display solution was developed to RIBA 3 as part of the project development stage 2 application process. Funding is now secured to realise this vision. The new visitor centre will be available for fit out in June 2022 and the site reopening to then public in the spring of 2023. Requirements/Output The key project tasks:- Consultation with key stakeholders and communities led by project team Work in partnership with project team and other contractors to develop content for behind the scenes programme of short videos, press releases and social media Interpretation and display elements within Visitor Centre, around the site and on the bridge developed for RIBA 4 for consideration and approval by project board. Construction and Installation of the agreed package of display and interpretation within programme timetable Provide monthly updates to Project Manager for progress and monitoring purposes Delivery of a virtual reconstruction of the high level walkway within the constraints set by the technical design and of the display space.
