        "reviewDetails": "The Information Commissioner's office is the UK's independent public authority responsible for overseeing and enforcing legislation including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR). Our regulatory activity includes issuing fines by way of penalty notices as set out in section 155 of the DPA. Monetary penalties for the most serious contraventions of the DPA can be issued for up to 4% of global turnover. For breaches of the PECR penalties are currently restricted to a maximum of PS500,000.
