19 146 - Low Value Construction Services Framework
Notice Description
The Framework will consist of three Lots; Lot 1 Construction Works (up to PS250,000), Lot 2 Construction Works (PS150,000 to PS1,000,000) and Lot 3 Demolition Works (up to PS1,000,000). Lots 1 and 2 must be capable of undertaking new build, extension and refurbishment projects as well as occasional single trade schemes. Lot 3 will undertake stand alone demolition projects together with associated building and reinstatement works. The works undertaken will generally be to schools, libraries, leisure centres, community buildings, social services and health buildings, depots, cemeteries/crematoria, office facilities, National Trust estates, heritage buildings, parks, farm buildings, public realm spaces, other buildings the Council is involved with and their environments. Although there may be a requirement for some housing projects this is anticipated to be very minimal. It is the Council's intention that this Framework will be available to associate companies and subsidiaries of the Council, including, but not limited to: Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd; Ansa Environmental Services Ltd; Orbitas Bereavement Services Ltd; Everybody Sports & Recreational Trust Ltd (Trading as Everybody Ltd, a charitable trust), Transport Service Solutions Ltd, and any other wholly or partly owned companies created by Cheshire East Borough Council. This framework agreement will also be open for use by all schools and academies, including maintained early years settings within the borough boundary and all town and parish Councils within the borough boundary. The values given in this notice are only estimations and are for the initial contract period of 3 years including the option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The authority gives no guarantee or warranty or makes any representation as to the accuracy of any indicative volumes or asto the value of the work during the contract period.
Lot Information
Construction Works (up to PS250,000)
Lot 1 will undertake new build construction, extensions, refurbishments and minor building works on a construct only basis (potentially with discrete elements of design). Projects may include heritage works and may also include single trade schemes. Providers submitting responses must demonstrate their capability of delivering the following types of projects, either themselves or through their supply chain:- * New Build Works * Extension Works * Refurbishment Works * Minor Building Works * Heritage Works * Demolition Works (where part of a project) * Electrical Works * Mechanical Works * Painting and Decorating Works * Flooring Works * CCTV/Fire Alarms/Security Systems Works * Landscaping Works (including play/sports equipment) * Public Realm Works * Site preparation works (only) for modular construction projects * Volumetric Building Solutions
Options: The option to extend for up to a further 12 months (at the councils sole discretion). In the event the framework is extended any extension shall be on the same terms and conditions of contract as the original contract period.
