Summary of the contracting process

The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is currently conducting a tender for the establishment of a Business Travel Management Services Framework Agreement, set to provide services for various Buying Authorities including Active Building Centre Co. Ltd and Vaccines Manufacturing & Innovations Centre (UK) Ltd. This procurement, classified under travel management services, is at the Tender stage, with a deadline for submissions on 16th July 2021. The total estimated value of the contract is £10,000,000, and it aims to appoint up to one Travel Management Company through a selective, Restricted procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This tender presents significant opportunities for Travel Management Companies to enhance their business operations, particularly those specialising in government and corporate travel services. Given the collaborative nature of the framework agreement, businesses that can demonstrate cost-effectiveness, reliability, and innovative travel solutions will be well-positioned to attract potential contracts. Furthermore, as services may be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, there could be additional funding opportunities for providers that meet the required standards.
