Notice Description

This notice serves to give notice that FLS intends to publish four tenders for Woodland Establishment services through our Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Woodland Establishment (our ref FW0049). Only Contractors admitted onto the DPS will be invited to tender for the relevant Lot. Applications to join the DPS may be made for one or both Lots by following the procedure set out in the original DPS notice available from; https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/search/show/search_view.aspx?ID=NOV370725 Contractors already on the DPS do not need to reapply or take any other action at this stage. We plan to issue all 4 tenders on the same day, each tender will set out the timetable for that tender.

Lot 1

The four tenders that we intend to issue are: 1) C0220 - DPS Lot 1 - 36ha South Region 2) C0221 - DPS Lot 2 - 161ha South Region and 97ha Central Region 3) C0222 - DPS Lot 2 - 39ha and 270ha Central Region 4) C0223 - DPS Lot 2 - 39ha East Region Sites and areas are subject to change. Details of the sites will be provided in the tenders. Additional information: The Woodland Establishment DPS services are split into two Lots, Lot 1 - Commercial and amenity woodland establishment, Contractor will be the Forest Works Manager (FWM) and Lot 2 - Planting and Maintenance woodland establishment on sites where the Authority is the Forestry Works Manager (FWM).
