We will achieve this by: * Doubling the size of the local economy by 2042 and thereby creating thousands of new well-paid jobs * Providing the UK's most technically skilled workforce * Improving the quality of life by tacking areas suffering from deprivation * Accelerating housebuilding to meet local needs * Delivering outstanding and much needed connectivity in terms of transport and digital links We want all residents in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to have access to high-quality, motivating and inspiring learning opportunities throughout their life, delivered in the community, the workplace or blended methods.
